Abstract

The aim of this investigation was to assess how Padang Mart executes its internal control system for merchandise inventory and to evaluate the alignment of its marketing management with Islamic business ethics. Employing a qualitative methodology, specifically descriptive analysis, the study involved observations, interviews, and analysis related to merchandise inventory management from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. This approach aimed to gather diverse information and delve deeper into the obtained theories. The findings indicate that the internal control system for merchandise inventory plays a crucial role in ensuring inventory integrity, offering valuable insights to support operational efficiency, and enabling companies to derive meaningful insights from mistakes. In practice, Padang Mart demonstrates a commendable adherence to Islamic business ethics, prioritizing customer service as its primary objective.
