For Librarians

The Journal of Accounting, Economics & Management (JAEM) encourages librarians to include this journal in their library’s electronic resources collection. JAEM is published in an open access format, allowing academic institutions, libraries, researchers, and students to access, download, archive, and distribute published articles without barriers.

Because the journal implements an open access publishing model, libraries may freely link JAEM content within digital repositories, institutional databases, learning management systems, and subject-specific research tools. All content is distributed under a permissive academic license that supports the reuse of scholarly articles for teaching, learning, and research purposes.

1. Benefits for Libraries

  • Permanent and free access to all published articles.
  • Support for institutional research activity by providing current and relevant content in accounting, economics, and management.
  • Ability to integrate articles into electronic catalogs, discovery systems, and digital library platforms.
  • Metadata availability for indexing and integration into library search tools.
  • Long-term archiving supported by open access preservation systems.

2. Archiving & Preservation

JAEM is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation of published scholarly content. The journal supports library archiving initiatives and allows libraries to store copies of published articles in:

  • Institutional Repositories (IR)
  • Digital Archives
  • Subject-based Repositories
  • Teaching and Learning Systems

This aligns with international archiving standards and ensures that published works remain accessible to future generations of scholars.

3. Metadata and Cataloging

Librarians may access comprehensive metadata for all published articles, including titles, abstracts, author information, keywords, DOI links, citation formats, and issue-level indexing. This metadata supports seamless integration into:

  • OPAC systems
  • Library discovery tools
  • Research data services
  • Bibliographic management platforms

4. Collaboration & Support

JAEM welcomes collaboration with librarians in promoting scholarly communication, research visibility, and open access initiatives. Librarians interested in supporting the journal, recommending reviewers, or participating in academic outreach may contact the editorial office for further information.

5. Linking and Citation

Libraries are encouraged to include stable links to JAEM articles using DOI identifiers or official URLs. Persistent linking ensures long-term reliability and accurate citation tracking for users accessing scientific literature through institutional systems.
