For Author

The Journal of Accounting, Economics & Management (JAEM) welcomes manuscript submissions from researchers, academics, practitioners, and graduate students in the fields of accounting, economics, and management. Authors are invited to contribute original work that demonstrates strong scholarly value, methodological rigor, and relevance to contemporary academic and professional issues.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are encouraged to carefully review the journal’s Aims & Scope, Publication Ethics, Peer Review Process, and Plagiarism Policy. Submissions that do not comply with the journal’s guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision or declined without external review.

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors must submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. All submissions must be prepared according to the journal’s formatting guidelines and uploaded in the required file format. Each submission should include:

  • A complete manuscript following the specified structure (title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, references).
  • A statement of originality confirming that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest and funding sources.
  • Ethical approval information when research involves human or animal subjects.

2. Authorship Criteria

All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. Authors should ensure that the author list accurately reflects contributions and that all co-authors approve the final version of the manuscript.

3. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Ensure the submitted manuscript is original and properly cites all sources.
  • Provide accurate data and methodology descriptions to allow reproducibility.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to editorial and reviewer feedback.
  • Revise the manuscript according to reviewer suggestions and submit a detailed response document.
  • Avoid unethical practices such as plagiarism, data falsification, or duplicate submission.

4. Article Processing

All manuscripts undergo an initial screening, plagiarism check, and double-blind peer review. The review process typically involves at least two expert reviewers. Authors will receive a decision notification based on reviewer recommendations, which may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.

5. Publication Fees

Information regarding Article Processing Charges (APC) or publication fees (if applicable) will be provided on the journal’s website. JAEM strives to maintain an accessible and transparent fee structure to support open access publishing.

6. Copyright & Licensing

Upon acceptance, authors retain copyright of their work while granting JAEM the right to publish the article. Articles are published under an open access license that allows readers to read, download, distribute, and reuse content for academic purposes, provided proper attribution is given.

7. Benefits for Authors

  • Open access publication ensuring global visibility and readership.
  • Double-blind peer review ensuring fair and objective assessment.
  • Indexing support and metadata dissemination to enhance citation potential.
  • Efficient editorial workflow and timely publication.

8. Encouragement to Register

Authors are encouraged to register with JAEM as readers and reviewers. Registration enables authors to receive updates on new issues, calls for papers, and opportunities to serve as peer reviewers.
